We are excited to announce that on 2nd November 2022, Pangbourne Christmas lights will be switched on by Rudolph Walker CBE

Rudolph has been a constant fixture in one the UK’s most loved TV programmes. His artistic legacy on both stage and screen spans 60 years.  

This year, the raffle collection proceeds will be going to his charity, The Rudolph Waker Foundation.

Rudolph set up his Foundation to provide inspirational role models and positive activities. These serve to empower young people to overcome the obstacles which they face in life, and build positive futures.

We are pleased to announce that Friday 4 December 2020 has been set for this year’s late-night opening and Christmas event in Pangbourne. More details will be posted here soon.

Former Reading and Wales International footballer Ady Williams will be joining Michelle Babs Jordan for the turning on of the lights on Friday 6 December 2019.

He is also a BBC Radio Berkshire presenter.

Great news: The Christmas lights will be turned on by BBC Berkshire and BBC Oxford presenter Michelle Babs Jordan.

Michelle says she is excited to be joining us for the event which will be outside The George Hotel in The Square, Pangbourne, at 19.00 on Friday 6 December 2019.
